Hours
Monday to Friday – 8:00 to end of day

Borrowing materials
3 week loan – fiction books (novels) and non-fiction books
7 day loan – DVDs and magazines
7 day loan – encyclopaedias and other reference materials
When classes are doing research assignments, some resources may not circulate due to heavy demand, but may be used in the library whenever it is open.

Overdue library materials
The library does not charge fines for overdue materials.  Students may renew books if required.  However, all lost and damaged materials must be paid for.  Remember, if you sign out any materials, you are responsible for them.

Computer use – priority is given for the following activities:
searching databases and other online resources
searching public catalogues, databases, etc.
working on school assignments
game playing is not allowed between 8:30 and 3:05

Standards of conduct
Cell phones are to be on ‘vibrate’ in the library.  Answer your phone in the hall.
Students are expected to follow the normal rules of conduct that apply throughout the school.  Library staff require that students respect the rights of other students using the facilities at all times.
Students who wilfully misuse equipment, software, or facilities will be asked to leave the Library or will have restricted access to the Library.
Students are expected to clean up after themselves.
