BURNABY ART GALLERY- STUDENT ART DISPLAY

Please join us for an exhibition of student work at the Burnaby Art Gallery on display next month.  The opening reception will be held in the evening of May 2, 2024. The show runs from May 3 to June 2. The theme of the show is wearable art. Attached below are the names of the Alpha students that are participating and the title of their piece being exhibited. I have attached the information regarding this event below.  We hope to see you there!

The Burnaby Art Gallery’s Opening Reception for this year’s Arts Alive: (re)FOLD/(re)FIT is May 2 from 7-9pm!

Come walk the runway of creativity and join us for fun and frivolity as we celebrate the wonderful art of these aspiring students.

We encourage everyone to dress to empress and wear their own piece of wearable art out of a paper product to this event!

MISSION STATEMENT

To cultivate and inspire a community of passionate young artists who will go forth and learn to express themselves upon the world’s various stages and canvases with self-assurance, confidence, and resilience.  Through emotional expression, students will be able to collaborate in a safe, creative, and inclusive environment, where being one’s true self is celebrated each and every day.
