With the holidays coming up, I am reminded that while it is a time for gathering and connection, it can also be different year to year as changes happen with individuals and families. These changes can sometimes be tricky for us to navigate.
The holidays can be challenging for some of the LGBTQ+ youth in our community with new social situations, interactions with unsupportive others, or disconnection from supportive communities as everyone is off for the holidays.
Here are some videos to raise awareness about the potential difficulties for LGBTQ+ members of our community around the holidays:
