Let Nature Be Your Guide…

Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher.

Wordsworth’s quote reminds us that there is so much we can learn from nature and that the natural world provides us with all kinds of creative inspiration. With this in mind, I invite you to join me in exploring the “local identity” of your neighbourhood, photographing what you uncover that might be viewed from another perspective. Then share these with your students to provoke further creative investigations. These are my latest discoveries and  how I’m playing with them…

More inspirations and Photo Riddles from Reggio@home:                                                    We can find a different viewpoint and “rediscover” objects around us, by using cameras and phones. The play of light and shadow, or playing around with magnifying and movement, all create encounters with new forms, new colours, and new images: objects concealed within objects, and forms hidden inside other forms.

What will grow from this seed?

Imagine possibilities and express them playfully!
