ATTN Grade 11 and 12 students: STEM CELL TALKS at UBC – Friday, May 19 (ProD)

Stem Cell Talks is a science outreach initiative for high school students in Canada. The goal is to educate and inspire senior high school students about the potential of stem cells to revolutionize medicine. It also aims to discuss the ethical issues associated with stem cell research in Canada.

This year’s Stem Cell Talks symposium will take place in person at UBC’s Life Sciences Centre. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 19th, 2023, and will run from 8:30 am to 5 pm. This year, we will highlight how stem cell bioengineering is revolutionizing the field of regenerative medicine. Highlights include:
