All Girls* Events

January 21: Grade 10-12, Invitation to Create (UBCV)

February 11: Grade 8-10, Engineering Extravaganza (SFU)

February 25: Grade 8-9, Sustainability for our Future (UBCV)

All-Girls* Events invites high school girls to join and learn about engineering design with fun, hands-on activities led by current university students and meet inspiring mentors.

Please note that we have an inclusive view of the word “girl” and we welcome trans, gender queer, and non-binary folks interested in these events.

Technovation Girls

Date: runs January through April 2023

Location: online

Technovation Girls equips young women ages 8 – 18 with the skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors, girls work in teams to code mobile apps or build an AI project that address real-world problems they’ve identified from within their local communities.
