At Coast Capital Savings Federal Credit Union (“Coast Capital” or ”we/our”) we understand that paying for education can be difficult. Whether it’s financial difficulties, family issues, personal loss, lack of supports, or health challenges, many students face barriers to education yet show great resilience in overcoming them. Our Youth Education Awards reward youth who have stayed committed to their education, even while facing adversity. And this year we’re reserving a minimum of 30% of our awards for IBPOC students—because we also understand that some youth face more barriers than others.
Standing Tall Award 43 Awards of $3,500 available
Our Standing Tall Awards support youth who have faced adversity and have not only risen up against the odds, but are demonstrating a commitment to continue their education. This award is open to students from diverse communities who have faced challenges like poverty, health issues, family issues, personal loss, or lack of supports (for example, youth who are, or who have been, in government care).
Review and submit to Ms.Gillam by March 31st, 2022.
