From dance and music to theater and the visual arts, the arts give children a powerful way of communicating their ideas about the world we live in. The arts can play an important role in improving students’ ability to learn because they can make use of a range of intelligences and learning styles. The arts allow us the creativity to express ourselves while challenging our intellect.

The Burnaby School District has exemplary arts programs and most importantly, highly skilled and passionate arts educators. Here, you will find information about our many visual and performing arts programs, opportunities and resources to support students’ education.

I was just wondering what grades your school covers, and if there is a waiting list?

    Thank you,

This blog represents the school district’s visual and performing arts- not one particular school. If you are interested in an elementary Learning Through the Arts Program, however, I suggest you contact, Burnaby’s Confederation Park Elementary at: 604-664-8669.
