Working with Photography in the Dance Classroom

I consider dance to be in many ways a perfect weaving of visual arts, music and drama. Yet capturing the ephemeral language of dance can be a challenge. Cheryl Kay, PhD candidate and dance teacher at Moscrop secondary in Burnaby, has been exploring using digital cameras with her dance students and how this technology can creates opportunities to expand our understandings of what it means to dance in schools.
