Students work through the provincial Grade 9 curriculum, and they are also encouraged to participate in math contests. Students are expected to maintain a minimum of A in order to continue into the Math 10\/11H course in the following year<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><b><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Evaluation Guidelines:<\/span><\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">The evaluation of this course will based upon tests, in-class assignments, homework and occasional projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><b><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">What type of student enjoys and is successful in this course?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Students will need to attend regularly and ask for help when unsure\u00a0about mathematical concepts.
