BURNABY SOUTH DANCE PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP
The Burnaby South Dance Scholarship recognizes a graduating student from the Burnaby South Dance Program who has shown dedication, excellence, and growth throughout their time in the program—from Grade 10 through Grade 12. This scholarship is not based solely on dance ability or grades, but on a student’s overall contribution to our dance community.
The recipient consistently demonstrates leadership, accountability, and a positive attitude both in and out of the studio. They support their peers, volunteer for events, take feedback with maturity, and show a willingness to work with dancers of all levels. They are deeply involved in our program and help foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone can grow.
While academic achievement is part of the eligibility, the heart of this scholarship is to celebrate a student who uplifts others, works hard, and represents the values of South Dance. The scholarship can be used for post-secondary school expenses, including entry fees, textbooks, or special summer programs. Study does not need to be in dance.
