{"id":2974,"date":"2021-04-08T14:21:53","date_gmt":"2021-04-08T21:21:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/south-counselling\/?p=2974"},"modified":"2021-04-08T15:42:45","modified_gmt":"2021-04-08T22:42:45","slug":"student-course-verifications-for-2021-2022-school-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/south-counselling\/2021\/04\/08\/student-course-verifications-for-2021-2022-school-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Course Verifications for 2021\/2022 School Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/south-counselling\/files\/2021\/04\/notice.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2975\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/south-counselling\/files\/2021\/04\/notice.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"294\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Hello Burnaby South!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Tomorrow morning, Students <strong>Course Request Verification Forms<\/strong> will be handed out to Students in their Period 5 class.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>Course Request Verification Form<\/strong> is due <u>BACK<\/u> to Burnaby South this <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>MONDAY, APRIL 12<sup>th<\/sup> by 3pm<\/strong><\/span> - Please return these forms to Student Services<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will see a box labelled \u201c<em>Course Verification Forms<\/em>\u201d on a table near the entrance doors, that students can hand these forms into<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please take this weekend to look over your child\u2019s Course Requests for September thoroughly, checking for accuracy. \u00a0The timetable will be built based on all students\u2019 course requests currently in the computer.<\/p>\n<p>Any changes to Course Requests must be made <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>NOW<\/strong><\/span>, as course changes will not be approved in September.\u00a0 To make a change, please cross out the incorrect course listed on the Course Request Verification form, and write in the correct course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember, all students MUST provide 4<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> <em>\u201cAlternate Elective Courses\u201d<\/em><\/span> which they are interested in taking, should there be a conflict in their TImetable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>If students did not select 4 \u201cAlternate Elective Courses\u201d OR any course was listed twice, students will have 1 or more \u201cNO ALTERNATES SELECTED\u201d Course(s) in the list of course requests.\u00a0 Students MUST replace these with an \u201cAlternate Elective Course\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong><em>As a reminder, a Course CANNOT be listed twice <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00e0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> ie;
