Hear well. Live well.\u201d&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Take a moment to reflect on how communication affects your life everyday.<\/p>\n<p>If your child is under 11, SAC is holding their annual contests for a chance to win a $100 gift card. Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/speechandhearing.ca\/kids-hub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kid&#8217;s Hub<\/a> on the SAC website for more information.<\/p>\n<p>This could be a great opportunity to target language goals. For example:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Vocabulary<\/strong>: labeling colours, body parts, animals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Requesting<\/strong>: be the keeper of the colouring utensils so that your child will have to request for a new colour each time they want one.<\/li>\n<li><strong>WH- Questions<\/strong>: &#8220;<em>What is your favourite part about visiting your SLP (or audiologist, or communication health assistant)?
