It sometimes, but not always, includes elements of the supernatural. The endings of horror novels are unresolved. Horror is closely related to other genres, such as fantasy\u00a0and science fiction, but while in fantasy good trumps evil, in horror the evil force lives on.<\/p>\n<p>Well-known horror writers include Stephen King and Darren Shan. \u00a0Classics include Frankenstein and Dracula. \u00a0Check out the displays in the hallway and front of the library. \u00a0There is also a selection of Horror and Halloween-inspired DVDs including\u00a0Terror of Frankenstein, The Munsters, and Hotel Transylvania.<\/p>\n<p>For a little Canadiana Horror, search on YouTube for\u00a0&#8216;Count Floyd&#8217; and &#8216;Monster Chiller Horror Theatre&#8217;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we approach Halloween, the library learning commons is highlighting HORROR fiction. \u00a0Horror fiction is intended to terrify readers.
