\nTry ‘Lock and Mori’ by Heather W. Petty. \u00a0This present-day version has Miss James Moriarty (yes, it’s a family name) teaming up with classmate Sherlock Holmes to solve the case of one (actually 4) murders in London’s Regent Park, the victims of which appear to be connected to Mori’s mother.
\nFor a very different take on Holmes, try ‘Jackaby’ by William Ritter. \u00a0This series takes place in New England at exactly the time that Sherlock Holmes is alive and detecting in London. \u00a0R.F. Jackaby is an investigator of the unexplained and his Watson is a young woman from England, Abigail Rook, who answers this ad:
