Congratulations to the October Athletes of the Month:<\/div>\n

The Female Athlete of the Month is Taran Jhuti from the Senior Girls Volleyball team.\u00a0 Taran is a grade 10 athlete playing up on the Senior Team.\u00a0 She is a leader on the court and was awarded All Star at each of the the tournaments the team played in. \u00a0 \u00a0With those strong performances the team finished :\u00a01st Place\u00a0Cake Tournament,\u00a02nd Place Burnaby\u00a0South Tournament, and\u00a02nd Place\u00a0VBC Season Opener.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u200bThe Male Athlete of the Month is Andrew Woinoski.\u00a0 Andrew lead both the\u00a0\u00a0Swim team and the Cross Country team to winning District Banners and will be competing in Provincials for each sport.\u00a0 In Cross Country, Andrew finished 2nd overall at the Zone race. \u00a0At the Swimming Zones he placed\u00a01st in 100m backstroke,\u00a01st in 100m IM\u200b,\u00a02nd in 100m breaststroke, and\u00a03rd in 100m freestyle.<\/p>\n

The Coach of the Month For October is Ms. Der for the Senior Girls \u00a0Volleyball Team.\u00a0 Ms. Der has coached a mainly grade 10 squad to a number of great finishes in tournament play and the team is in a good position to qualify for the Lower Mainland tournament.<\/p>\n
