Are you interested in psychology, education, or helping people with special needs? We have the degree for them at Capilano University! <\/span><\/p>\n

We offer a 4-year Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behaviour Analysis \u2013 Autism. This is an applied psychology degree with an emphasis on operant psychology, learning theory, and autism. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our graduates are eligible to become Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) after graduation*. <\/span><\/p>\n

Most of our students are able to secure paid part-time work related to their studies while they are in the program and our graduates report a 100% employment rate. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Our graduates go on to a diverse range of careers. Some become practicing Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), others\u00a0become teachers, while many pursue master\u2019s degrees in special education, behavioral psychology, counselling, or other areas (e.g., human resource management, environmental studies, law school, etc.). <\/span><\/p>\n

Our program is still accepting applications for Fall 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>* BCaBA certification requires successful completion of a bachelor\u2019s degree, required course work, and 1000-1300 hours of supervised field work. Our program provides the degree, course work, and a portion of the supervised field work required for certification exam eligibility.<\/p>\n
