Even with social distancing, there is a whole universe out there waiting for you to explore online. The Burnaby Public Libraries will be closed for the summer, but you can still join the Online Reading Club. I think this could be a lot of fun. Click ‘Continue Reading’ below to find the information you need to join:
- Registration starts Friday June 12.
- This year, kids and teens sign up online at the same place: www.bpl.bc.ca/summer-reading-club. After reading this summer, you will be eligible to receive a highly coveted Summer Reading Club medal!
- Once you’re registered, bookmark the website or search for ‘Burnaby Public Library Summer Reading club’ and you will go straight to the page.
- You will be able to track your reading on the website, or you can download a paper copy of the Reading Record.
- Keep checking the website for weekly activities and contests. Your entries could be featured on the Burnaby Public Library website, Facebook page or Twitter!
- You can also find lots of great booklists and reading suggestions and all sorts of other links on their website.
- Best of all,you can talk to a friendly, helpful librarian if you have any questions.
