Donna.Morgan@burnabyschools.ca)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>open to Burnaby K-12 students\u2013there are prizes for Primary, Intermediate and Secondary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>students can enter on their own or\u00a0as\u00a0a group (of 2 or 3)<\/li>\n<li>to enter the contest, students\u00a0must\u00a0provide their\u00a0teacher with the following:\n<ul>\n<li>a link to their\u00a0video (must be 4 minutes or less)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/math\/files\/2016\/02\/Personal-Info-Consent-Form-2016-2017.docx\">signed personal consent form<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>video cannot contain any copyrighted material<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>video should not contain video clips from other sources<\/li>\n<li>video should be original live footage or student created animation<\/li>\n<li>video should be filmed in British Columbia, and follow COVID rules as given by our Provincial Health Officer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*note: free music sites are available online<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h2>Judging Criteria<\/h2>\n<h5>25% of marks for TOPIC<br \/>\n\uf0a7 chooses an interesting topic in SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING or MATH<br \/>\n\uf0a7 video is relevant to students and makes a clear point about a topic, issue, invention or event<\/h5>\n<h5>50% of marks for CONTENT AND CREATIVITY:<br \/>\n\uf0a7 topic is scientific and explanation is thorough and explained well<br \/>\n\uf0a7 topic is clearly presented and easy to follow<br \/>\n\uf0a7 video is creative<br \/>\n\uf0a7 video is original\u2014content is from the students, and video is shot by students in the local area<br \/>\n\uf0a7 uses humour effectively<br \/>\n\uf0a7 use everyday events or natural surroundings<br \/>\n\uf0a7 applies Indigenous perspectives as appropriate<\/h5>\n<h5>25% of\u00a0 marks for PRESENTATION<br \/>\n\uf0a7 video flows well<br \/>\n\uf0a7 visuals interesting<br \/>\n\uf0a7 uses a variety of strategies (visuals, explanations, analogies) to communicate thoughts<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>See previous year&#8217;s winners <a
