Daily 5 is a great framework for structuring literacy time so students develop lifelong habits of reading, writing, and working independently.  Our Daily 5 book club met yesterday for the last time, and many teachers asked for support and direction as to what the mini lessons should include for reading and writing.  Here is a list of books that will help you, broken up into the daily 5 categories.
