There is an energy to this day that is quite different from the day-to-day. It is the energy of curiosity and wonder at work. It is a time to allow creative juices flow. And sometimes there is a level of anxiety over anticipated things that push or pull the need for change.<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h4><em>Some things I know for sure:<\/em><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Learning is built on community and togetherness. How we create the conditions for connectedness is important.<a href=\"https:\/\/digisandbox.wordpress.com\/?attachment_id=3449\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3449\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3449\" src=\"https:\/\/digisandbox.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/02\/comfort-zone-quote.png?w=300&amp;h=186\" alt=\"Comfort Zone Quote\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>New experiences have to be connected to things you already understand. Moving forward is purposeful and intentional.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Individuals make personal conscious decisions to learn new things. What is ultimately worth learning is usually difficult and messy. It takes courage to make a leap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sometimes people will try something only because they know you will support them and walk alongside (like PoohBear and Piglet). How will you carry these sparks and thinking challenges into your classrooms or offices?
