{"id":340,"date":"2009-11-18T20:30:59","date_gmt":"2009-11-19T03:30:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bbyfastforword.wordpress.com\/?p=340"},"modified":"2009-11-18T20:30:59","modified_gmt":"2009-11-19T03:30:59","slug":"whats-up-with-those-flags","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/fastforword\/whats-up-with-those-flags\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s Up with Those Flags!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/fastforword\/files\/2009\/07\/speaking-bubble-double.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-72\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/fastforword\/files\/2009\/07\/speaking-bubble-double.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"67\" height=\"42\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0On Tues Nov 17th, we met at Schou &#8211; TLC to familiarize ourselves with some of the reports of Progress Tracker and what to do with interventions.\u00a0 The Condensed Report provide an overview of days participated, and percentage of each exercised completed as well as when flags will appear.\u00a0 Individual Progress reports provided an detailed summary of each step of completion.\u00a0 As well, the mathematical calculations were shared to show the algorithym as another way to look at the error rates.\u00a0 The goal of this was to offer other insights so that choices could be made about interventions.\u00a0 Each school was able to look at their own data\u00a0online.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/fastforword\/files\/2009\/11\/flag_red.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-343\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/fastforword\/files\/2009\/11\/flag_red.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"41\" height=\"46\" \/><\/a>Another area of conversation was the intervention piece.\u00a0 All interventions start with the student articulating what to do (in their words) and asking what sounds do they actually hear.\u00a0 (*We are avoiding the terms &#8211; up and down when referring to the sounds.)
