The program\u00a0integrated literacy components that included hands-on word study, communication strategies within photography and movie making as well as self-assessment.\u00a0 One student commented, &#8220;&#8230;learning this Fast ForWord thing sure has helped my memory&#8230;&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0 The gains in confidence and self esteem\u00a0 were certainly evident with many during the month.<\/p>\n<p>Both students and teacher learned a great deal throughout the process, even with the heat wave!
