Tabs provide the organizational structure so that you can group your content. \u00a0You can create your own collection and\/or use other educator&#8217;s public binders. There are literally hundreds of them! \u00a0What I love about this tool is that you have the ability to include images, video, sound and writing, making this a true entry point for differentiation. \u00a0Can you just feel the little wheels in your head turning? \u00a0I can.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">HOW WOULD I USE LIVEBINDERS?<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>As a\u00a0<strong>research compiler<\/strong>, content on topics can be organized. \u00a0Have students dig around and include resources they feel match the criteria.\u00a0<em>(AAhh&#8230;there&#8217;s a lesson on website evaluation here.)\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li>As a\u00a0<strong>student portfolio<\/strong>, showcase a variety of artifacts (stories, articles, drawings, audio recordings, experiences, projects) to share learning throughout the year. \u00a0Make sure to include reflection.<\/li>\n<li>As a\u00a0<strong>websearch<\/strong>\u00a0scavenger hunt<\/li>\n<li>As a\u00a0<strong>learning review<\/strong>\u00a0for those who missed the class or need extra practice<\/li>\n<li>As a\u00a0<strong>presentation tool<\/strong>\u00a0instead of PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are only starting points. \u00a0The web based tool provides you with flexibility, both in delivery, organization and retrieval of content. \u00a0I wonder what<a style=\"color: #df0000;\" href=\"http:\/\/digisandbox.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/10\/thinkingbubble.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"border-style: initial; border-color: initial;\" title=\"thinkingbubble\" src=\"http:\/\/digisandbox.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/10\/thinkingbubble.gif?w=150\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"95\" \/><\/a>\u00a0would\u00a0happen if I posted a <a href=\"http:\/\/livebinders.com\" target=\"_blank\">LiveBinder<\/a> single page on a topic (let&#8217;s say\u00a0&#8220;house structures&#8221;) and asked the students to add in all the content that they would need to successfully teach &#8220;how to build gingerbread houses&#8221;. \u00a0I can imagine visits to libraries, lots of chatter and brainstorming, lots of math measurement and lots of fun. \u00a0Especially when we arrive at the actual building stage&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>How would you use\u00a0<a title=\"LiveBinders\" href=\"http:\/\/livebinders.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">LiveBinders<\/a>? \u00a0I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a &#8220;have your cake and eat it&#8221; situation. \u00a0Last time I shared\u00a0bookmarking\u00a0through the\u00a0use of Symbaloo\u00a0(a great tool that lays websites out in visual tiles). \u00a0Today it&#8217;s\u00a0LiveBinders. \u00a0This tool organizes your resources and presents your content in a binder format. \u00a0(They even look like little binders.)
