\nThe Douglas College Institute of Urban Ecology has a variety of in-person and online, synchronous and asynchronous, workshops available for K\u201312 classes. The workshops use a variety of tools (games, crafts, outdoor exploration, etc.) to invite participants of all ages to play an active role in discovering the natural world around them and their relationship to it. All workshops include a hands-on participatory learning activity. For more information, please\u00a0see the online brochure<\/a>.\u00a0Registration opens\u00a0on September 1<\/span><\/strong>, and all workshop requests must be made through their\u00a0online booking system<\/a>. In-person workshops are only available for BC school districts 36\u201341 and 43\u201345. Online synchronous and asynchronous workshops are available to anyone outside this region.
