Organized by the Centre for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics, the Gairdner High School Symposium<\/a><\/span> is a half-day event held each fall that gives secondary students and teachers the opportunity to interact with Gairdner award-winning scientists<\/a> and BC Children’s Hospital researchers.<\/p>\n This event is scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2024<\/strong>. Grade 10-12 students can participate in-person<\/a> or virtually<\/a> in real-time. In-person students will get the chance to\u00a0go on lab tours and\u00a0learn about the BC Children\u2019s Hospital\u2019s research facilities.<\/p>\n The registration form is currently available<\/a><\/span> and the deadline has been extended until\u00a0September 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm<\/strong>.
