The online UBC Engineering Open House will provide research spotlights and presentations about admissions, Co-op and the student experience. Students will get the best experience by attending all three days, though it is not required. Recordings will also be available to registrants after the event concludes. All of our engineering programs from both campuses will have virtual booths that are available for drop-in Q&A on October 13. Engineering Design Competition x Parent Info Session<\/h2>\n

In partnership with BGC Engineering, UBC Geering Up is proud to host an Engineering Design Challenge to explore your students’ creative and critical thinking skills! Students will work in teams to develop innovative solutions to the challenge and have it evaluated by a panel of judges. We will conclude this event with a Parent Info Session where we will have a representative from UBC’s Faculty of Applied Science to answer questions on pathways to UBC Engineering!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

At the Engineering x Arts event, there will be various “Arts Hubs” that will study how a particular artistic endeavour is strengthened by engineering principles.
