SFU is offering a 3 week summer camp in Artificial Intelligence to select Indigenous and Black young women in the community.<\/p>\n
Invent the Future 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n Invent the Future\u00a0is Canada\u2019s first and only three-week summer enrichment program focused on bringing Artificial Intelligence (AI) expertise, community, and mentorship to\u00a0trans and cisgender women, non-binary and Two Spirit students in Grade 9-12. This year’s program will run synchronously from July 10-28, 2023<\/strong> with some\u00a0asynchronous activities taking place a week\u00a0before.\u00a0Check out last year’s program schedule using this\u00a0link<\/a>.<\/p>\n Date: July 10-28, 2023*<\/p>\n Time: 9 am-12 pm PST<\/p>\n Delivery: Online via Zoom<\/p>\n Student: Trans and cisgender women, non-binary and Two Spirit\u00a0students in Grade 9-12<\/p>\n *Please note, accepted students will complete a pre-program Python workshop from July 4th to 7th.
