High school girls* in grades 10-12\u00a0<\/strong>are invited to explore why engineering is an amazing career for women who want to change the world, help improve the lives of others\u00a0and the environment around us, and who like teamwork and problem-solving.
\nLearn about different types of engineering, chat with current students, hear from recent alumni and (virtually) tour the campus.<\/div>\n

The Engineering Stories Team at UBC<\/strong> has launched a new YouTube series called “Behind the Career<\/strong>.” The first video of the series is available\u00a0now and every week a new video featuring a graduate from one of\u00a0our 14 engineering programs will be uploaded.
\nCheck out\u00a0our first Behind the Career interview with Erin<\/a>, a Manufacturing Engineer at Apple.Our E-Mentorship program<\/strong> is a low commitment way for prospective students to connect with a current UBC Engineering student. There is no formal programming, but it does allow students to directly connect with one of our students via email or Zoom.<\/div>\n
We are taking special consideration to also connect underrepresented populations\u00a0with similar role models in our program.
\nInterested students can complete our form<\/a> to be matched with a mentor.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
