Tours are Open for Registration<\/h2>\n

Tour registration will\u00a0open on October 18 at 8:00am only to those that have already\u00a0RSVP’d<\/a>\u00a0. Students can continue to RSVP<\/a> over the weekend to gain\u00a0access to the tour registration.\u00a0Tour registration will open to the public on our website<\/a> beginning\u00a0October 21.<\/p>\n

Lab Tours:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience what some of our lab courses are like and gain\u00a0more perspective about some of the research happening within UBC Engineering.<\/p>\n

Student Team Tours:<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a presentation from the highlighted team, you’ll be guided\u00a0through our Student Design Teams. For students interested in joining a Design Team, hands-on extracurricular experience, competing nationally and internationally or working on a team, this is a great introduction to our\u00a0Student Design Teams<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Student Experience Tours:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Explore what our students do outside of the classroom – the Student Experience Tour is a mini campus tour highlighting some of the places our students frequent to study, eat, and have fun. You’ll see some libraries, a residence dining hall, state of the art fitness centres, and more!<\/p>\n

Women in Engineering Lunch<\/h2>\n

11:00am and 12:00pm<\/p>\n

Girls in grades 10, 11, and 12 interested in engineering are invited to have lunch with us! A panel of women engineers and engineering students\u00a0will share their experience, followed by a chance to network with current engineering students.<\/p>\n

Engineer Your Future<\/h2>\n

An experience for Indigenous High School students
\n10:00am to 3:00pm<\/p>\n

Indigenous students in Grades 8-12 and their parents and caregivers are invited to join our current UBC Engineering Indigenous students who will share their own experiences while guiding students through everything that the UBC Engineering & Architecture Open House has to offer.
