Urban Spirit Foundation Scholarship<\/p>\n
Two awards of $500 each to students of Aboriginal ancestry who apply for the scholarship and meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n
* are of Aboriginal ancestry<\/p>\n
* embodies the goals of the Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement<\/p>\n
o Demonstrates a sense of identity and culture<\/p>\n
o Demonstrates ongoing involvement within the school and greater community<\/p>\n
o Strong academic standing<\/p>\n
* be enrolled in a post-secondary institution (full time)<\/p>\n
* demonstrate financial need<\/p>\n
The District Scholarship Committee will review all applications in consultation with Aboriginal Education to determine the students to be honoured with this award.<\/p>\n
