The Coast Capital Savings, knows that paying for an education can be challenging. It can be especially challenging for youth who\u2019ve faced more than their share of personal hurdles. That\u2019s why they created\u00a0the\u00a0Youth Get It Education Awards. This year they are offering two awards,\u00a0Standing Tall Award<\/a> and the Beth Hutchinson Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For 2016, we\u2019re offering at total of 60 Education Awards, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
Standing Tall Award
\n59 Awards of $2500 Available<\/strong><\/td>\n		Our Standing Tall Awards support youth who have faced adversity and not only risen up against the odds, but are demonstrating a commitment to continue their education. This award is open to students who have faced challenges like poverty, health issues, family issues, personal loss, or lack of supports (for example, youth who are or who have been in government care).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Beth Hutchinson Award
\nOne $5000 Award Available<\/strong><\/td>\n		One individual will be selected to receive the Beth Hutchinson Award.\u00a0 This award recognizes the young person in Surrey who best exemplified a commitment to continuing their education in the face of considerable health challenges.<\/p>\n

Beth was an inspirational Standing Tall winner in 2012, and we\u2019re honouring her memory by making the Beth Hutchinson Award available to a student from her home community of Surrey, BC.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

To be eligible to receive an award, students must not have previously received an Education Award from us, and be:<\/p>\n
