If you can’t attend summer camp this year, why not try one online?<\/p>\n

A few sites are offering free online “camps” that have a reading and inquiry activities to help continue your learning and keep your mind active this summer.\u00a0 These are perfect for rainy days or times when you are inside for a while.<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0Camp Wonderopolis.<\/a>\u00a0 They have a number of camps available from music to science.\u00a0 All you need to do is choose which interests you and register to participate.<\/li>\n
  2. Camp Candlewick.<\/a>\u00a0 Candlewick publishers have created a camp that is organized by age.\u00a0 Just choose your age range and the dates and camp activities are revealed, no registration required.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. VarsityTours.<\/a>\u00a0 They are offering a number of online interactive classes,including everything from art to science.\u00a0 Registration is required and although many are free, some courses require payment.<\/li>\n
  4. CampPBSKids.<\/a>\u00a0 Here are a number of summer activities that are parent led, with some activities associated with PBS programming.<\/li>\n
  5. French Camps.\u00a0 There are many camps available for a charge, however there are also a couple free options.\u00a0 La<\/strong> Class En Ligne <\/a>is a series of daily classes available for grades 1-6 taught by Marie-\u00c8ve L\u00e9vesque\u2013 she is a well known teacher in Quebec (you can access previous lessons) and Les Petits Pommes<\/a> has some online chats available for free (as well as camps at a cost).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
