\"\"<\/a>Mother’s Day is quickly coming up this Sunday, May 10, 2020.\u00a0 With all of the extra work moms are doing right now, it is VERY important that we don’t forget about them!\u00a0 Since most of us are unable to go out and purchase a gift right now, it would be equally thoughtful to create something homemade.<\/p>\n

To begin, a little bit of reading inspiration from Storytime Brightly<\/a> (Are You My Mother<\/em>, by PD Eastman)\u00a0 and Epic Books, <\/a>which has a large collection of story books and craft books to celebrate Mother’s Day.\u00a0 Adrienne Gear<\/a> also has a lesson for Mother’s Day with an accompanying writing activity based on Anthony Browne’s My Mom.<\/em><\/p>\n

Then you can spend some time creating something for mom.\u00a0 There are a lot of ideas out there, including a list of virtual activities complied by WeAreTeachers.com<\/a> and drawings from Art for Kids Hub<\/a>\u00a0 (supermom<\/a>\u00a0 and the Mother’s Day<\/a> card were my favourite drawings, but there is a huge selection to choose from).\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
