{"id":129,"date":"2020-05-05T12:46:30","date_gmt":"2020-05-05T19:46:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/brantford-library\/?p=129"},"modified":"2020-05-06T11:27:40","modified_gmt":"2020-05-06T18:27:40","slug":"live-science-lessons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/brantford-library\/2020\/05\/live-science-lessons\/","title":{"rendered":"Live Science Lessons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have found two interesting sites that have live science lessons on a variety of topics.<\/p>\n<p>The first is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/maddiemoate\/featured\"><strong>Let&#8217;s Go Live with Maddie &amp; Greg<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 This pair films five days a week live from their home in the UK.\u00a0 Although the time difference makes it difficult to watch live, the thirty minute episodes are available on Maddie&#8217;s YouTube channel, along with the corresponding links to activities and websites that they discuss on their show.\u00a0 Each week they have a theme, beginning with gardens and including: space, makers, dinosaurs, the body and the earth.<\/p>\n<p>The second is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC20DGpTHgqDlgctp6jDkmZg\/featured\"><strong>Earth Live Lessons<\/strong><\/a> Hosted by Liz Daily on her Wildlife TV YouTube channel.\u00a0 These twenty minute episodes are mostly about the earth and wildlife; however, they are led by a variety of scientists, conservationists and filmmakers.<\/p>\n<p>Let me know if you have found any other cool science videos or activities that you think are worth sharing!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have found two interesting sites that have live science lessons on a variety of topics.
