Hi everyone.\u00a0 In the library, our phonics group have been learning some strategies to release all of our excitement and try to focus and concentrate.\u00a0 They were called, RELEASE (relax) and FOCUS.<\/p>\n
Remind yourself how to relax your body with RELEASE using a deep breath and anytime you need to refocus, remember the FOCUS strategy with your imaginary self standing behind you, holding your shoulders to help you focus.<\/p>\n

A<\/a>\u00a0 B<\/a>\u00a0 C<\/a>\u00a0 D<\/a>\u00a0 E<\/a>\u00a0 F<\/a>\u00a0 G<\/a>\u00a0 H<\/a>\u00a0 I<\/a>\u00a0 J<\/a>\u00a0 K<\/a>\u00a0 L<\/a>\u00a0 M<\/a>\u00a0 N<\/a>\u00a0 O<\/a>\u00a0 P<\/a>\u00a0 QU<\/a>\u00a0 R<\/a>\u00a0 S<\/a>\u00a0 T<\/a>\u00a0 U<\/a>\u00a0 V<\/a>\u00a0 W<\/a>\u00a0 X<\/a>\u00a0 Y<\/a>\u00a0 Z<\/a><\/p>\n Now you can get out the playdough and make that letter!\u00a0 You could also brainstorm all the words that begin with that letter (or END with that letter!).<\/p>\n Below is an easy and quick playdough recipe.<\/p>\n PLAYDOUGH RECIPE:<\/p>\n 1c flour<\/p>\n 1\/4c salt<\/p>\n 3\/4c water<\/p>\n 3 tbs lemon juice<\/p>\n 1 tbs vegetable oil<\/p>\n Food coloring<\/p>\n METHOD:\u00a0 Stir together the flour and salt.\u00a0 Heat the water, lemon juice and oil in a medium pot so it gets hot but NOT boiling. Add color.\u00a0 Slowly add the dry ingredients while mixing.\u00a0 Continue to stir until ingredients combine, dry out and begin to form a ball.\u00a0 Don’t OVERCOOK!
