With the new BC curriculum in place, the core competencies remain at the center of our lessons and how we organize school policies and develop our school community.\u00a0 The library is no exception!\u00a0 From the introduction of the new self checkout station, to increasing opportunities for teacher collaboration for inquiry and critical literacy, digital and technology skills, flexible book exchanges, and allowing FREE CHOICE of books to borrow for the children, we are reflecting elements of the core competencies.\u00a0 Below I have highlighted the competencies that I believe are reflected in the library space and policies thus far:<\/p>\n
