SPONSORSHIP CAMPAIGN
Dear Community Members, Business Owners & Managers, Families & Friends,
The Alpha Theatre Company is so excited to be preparing our Mainstage Spring Production, CLUE, based on the infamous family favourite boardgame. More than 45 students will represent our school as part of our show, a collaborative experience where students benefit from performing, designing, building and teching our production. Productions such as this, built from the ground up, are what foster the building of a village in the arts, and a safe sense of community. It is here that many of students find another home away from home.
We are reaching out to you today because inflation makes supplies for building, costuming and outfitting a production difficult to afford.
We are hoping that, as families who are patrons of the Arts, you would consider supporting us through one of the sponsorship options listed below. As a gesture of thanks, all donors will have their names listed in the Sponsorship section of our show programs!
OPTION 1: TEAM WORKS for $50
Every little bit helps and together we can make a big difference.
OPTION 2: COSTUME SPONSORSHIP $50
Your donation will help to lower the cost for us to purchase, rent or adapt thrifted or new costume pieces for the show.
OPTION 3: FEED the PRODUCTION for $150
We would really love to feed our kids for the 2 show dates where they are performing a lunch hour matinee and then an evening show. This sponsorship helps with items like bottled water, pizza and cookies for the kids.
OPTION 4: SET SUPPLIES for $200-300
Lumber, doors, castors, and many other set elements have become increasingly pricey. We are reusing as much of our current lumber pieces as we can, but this sponsorship allows us to continue to build further as needed.
OPTION 5: SHOWTIME! for $500-1000+
Your generous donation will greatly reduce the overall cost for the production as whole. In addition to the gifts mentioned above, donors at this level will have their names listed on our Visual and Performing Arts website and will be offered 2 tickets to the show for the evening of their choice. At our show, our MC will acknowledge your generosity as well.
How to Become a Sponsor:

| For online donations using a credit card, follow these steps:
1. Go to our website at https://alpha.burnabyschools.ca/ and select on the right side of the screen. 2. In the Gift Information section, please select Alpha Secondary as the Fund Destination from the drop-down menu. 3. IMPORTANT: in the Message to the School Board you must specify that your donation is to be directed to the DRAMA PROGRAM FUND. 4. Your tax receipt will be e-mailed to you immediately. 5. Please note your confirmation # on the attached form. For cheque donations: Please make cheques payable to Alpha Secondary, and email Cristina.mcallister@burnabyschools.ca to alert her to it being placed in the mail. Please put ATTN: Cristina McAllister on the envelope below the school address. A tax receipt will be issued by the School Board, but this may take several months.

- Complete the Sponsorship Form and return by emailing it to mcallister@burnabyschools.ca OR mail it with your cheque directly to the school (mailing address and contact info below). You can also drop it off to our school office if you prefer.
- Attend our show and let us thank you in person. We offer you the gift of performance and technical work created by young thespians that you have helped to support.

DEADLINE for Publication in time for the show is April 1st, 2024. Sponsorships received after this date will be published in next year’s Winter Cabaret program in December 2025.
