It is an Applied Skill where you will learn how to create business forms (balance sheet, income statements), keep track of a company\u2019s profits, and how to understand basic financial information. You will work out of a workbook that is provided in class. Class time is provided for practice assignments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Evaluation:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Evaluation is primarily based on individual assignments and chapter tests. There may be occasional group assignments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who should take this course?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students who enjoy a very structured classroom environment will enjoy this course. Students registered in ESL 1 may find the vocabulary too difficult. This course is for students who are interested in how businesses keep track of how much money they make.
