Applied Design Skills Technologies is an important part of our revised curriculum.&nbsp; Our Learning Intentions for these sessions were to:<\/p>\n<p>1)Develop the Core Competencies of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Personal Awareness and Responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Creative and Critical Thinking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2) Generate ideas, make something, test it, improve it, share it, reflect on our thinking.<\/p>\n<p>Our maker lab included a variety of materials and technologies.&nbsp; They also wrote a self assessment for the Core Competencies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 2<\/p>\n<p>I hope you enjoyed our visit with author Shane Peacock.
