WELCOME TO BURNABY SOUTH DANCE!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n
Burnaby South Dance is the oldest dance program in the Burnaby School District servicing students of all learning levels between grades 8-12. We are home to the only all deaf dance class in a public school in Canada. We aim to make dance accessible to all learners while encouraging the physical, creative, and intellectual development of each student.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
There is no requirement of previous experience in order to join a Burnaby South Dance class at any point in high school. Each 4 credit course is made up of students with varying skill levels, from no experience to pre-professional. Students who take a dance class in grades 10, 11, and 12 are automatically qualified for a dance scholarship in their graduating year.<\/div>\n
