Burnaby South Dance is the oldest dance program in the Burnaby School District servicing students of all learning levels between grades 8-12. We are home to the only all deaf dance class in a public school in Canada. We aim to make dance accessible to all learners while encouraging the physical, creative, and intellectual development of each student.

There is no requirement of previous experience in order to join a Burnaby South Dance class at any point in high school. Each 4 credit course is made up of students with varying skill levels, from no experience to pre-professional. Students who take a dance class in grades 10, 11, and 12 are automatically qualified for a dance scholarship in their graduating year.
