University of Toronto national scholarship program

University of Toronto National Scholarships are awarded to outstanding Canadian students who will attend the U of T in September 2013, covering tuition and fees for 4 years, residence support for the first year, and an additional renewable monetary award.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of exceptional academic and extra-curricular achievement.

TD scholarship for community leadership (up to $10000 per year)

If you're a young Canadian who has made a difference in your community, we want to hear from you. The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership rewards students who have shown leadership in many areas including environmental cleanup, the promotion of social justice, and the fight against child poverty, to name just a few.

Your outstanding and consistent concerns for the improvement of your community, could make you eligible for a scholarship to cover the cost of your post-secondary education.

You may have found a new way to solve a community problem working within an existing group or organization; you may have started something brand new. Either way, we are eager to hear from you.

Each scholarship is valued at up to $70,000 and includes 

  • Up to $10,000 for tuition per year
  • $7,500 a year toward living expenses

Plus 

  • An offer of paid summer employment
  • Mentorship Opportunities
  • Invitations to annual gatherings, networking opportunities and events

Youth Volunteer Scholarship Award

To be eligible for the Youth Volunteer Scholarship Award a student must:

1) Over the past 2 years a student must have completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer work.

2) Over the past 2 years a student must have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or greater.

3) A student must be under the age of 21 years of age on the day of the deadline.

4) A student must submit an essay on the topic prior to the deadline.
