Also, as Canadians, we should be aware of the contributions the Scottish have made in Canadian history. Divisions 5 and 14 heard a special presentation in the school library given by Mrs. Todd, one of our noon-hour supervisors who came to Canada from Glasgow. Even though she emigrated years ago, she still has a strong Glaswegian accent. She recited some of \u00a0the poetry of Robbie Burns\u00a0and explained\u00a0how Robbie Burns\u00a0day is celebrated by the Scots.
