The grade 6 poet has kindly allowed me to share it with you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/seaforth-library\/files\/2015\/10\/bookborder.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-892\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/seaforth-library\/files\/2015\/10\/bookborder-300x30.jpg\" alt=\"bookborder\" width=\"300\" height=\"30\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; text-decoration: underline;\">Books<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\"><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">Books are full of words short or long,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">Sometimes there&#8217;s a poem or a song,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">Non-fiction brings knowledge, whether you want it or not,\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">for some knowledge brings fear,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">And with fear comes distraught.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">Fiction brings fantasy, magic , and much more,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">With fiction comes imagination,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">And perhaps more stories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">But which to choose?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">Fiction or non-fiction?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">Both can cause joy, excitement, or sorrow, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">it all depends on what you choose to borrow,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;\">to read and enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/seaforth-library\/files\/2015\/10\/bookborder.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-892\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/seaforth-library\/files\/2015\/10\/bookborder-300x30.jpg\" alt=\"bookborder\" width=\"300\" height=\"30\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I was walking down the hallway last week, I couldn&#8217;t help but notice a fabulous poem about books on Division 1&#8217;s bulletin board.
