Here’s a gift-giving idea for Christmas…<\/strong><\/p>\n

If You Give A Child A Book<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you give a child a book, he’s going to want to read it.<\/span>
\n And as he reads, he’s going to think about what he’s doing.<\/span>
\n And as he thinks, he’s going to recall what he already knows<\/span>
\n and similar experiences he has had.<\/span>
\n And as he thinks about those experiences, he’s going to want<\/span>
\n to talk to his friends and share his thoughts and ideas with them.<\/span>
\n And as he talks with others,<\/span>
\n he’s going to want to learn and discover more.<\/span>
\n So, chances are he’ll find another book to read,<\/span>
\n And then another, and another.<\/span>
\n And as he reads more books, he’ll discover books<\/span>
\n that make him smile, laugh, cry, angry, curious,<\/span>
\n frustrated, contented, thoughtful, happy,<\/span>
\n And then, as time passes,<\/span>
\n He’ll become a lifelong reader.<\/span><\/p>\n
