The library has many different illustrated versions of this fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm in both French and English. But did you know that their works have recently\u00a0created a literary trend? There are many novels written for Intermediate students that are based on the works of the Brothers Grimm. Here are a few titles that might be great to read: <em><strong>The Sisters Grimm: the Fairy Tale Detectives<\/strong><\/em> is a series by Michael Buckley; <em><strong>The Grimm Legacy<\/strong><\/em> by Polly Shulman and <em><strong>A tale dark &amp; Grimm<\/strong><\/em> by Adam Gidwitz.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wed.Feb.29th, the Vancouver Opera Society will be at Seaforth to perform Hansel and Gretel.
