\"\"<\/a>On October 26th, we were very fortunate to have an Author visit for the grade four and five students from Michael Kusugak<\/a> and his wife, Gerry Pflueger. Here are some responses from the students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I enjoyed Michael talking about his life, culture, and his stories. Gerry showed Inuit artifacts and clothing. It was interesting to see these things and feel them. A part of Michael\u2019s story was on the Inuit language called Inuktitut. He told us his life story and how he lived in his younger years. An important part was the heritage and hunting.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0By Sameer <\/em><\/p>\n

J\u2019ai aime les contes qu\u2019il nous dit. Quand il nous racontes quelque chose, tout le monde ecoute. I; nous dit des histoires avec beaucoup de details. J\u2019ai aime beaucoup quand il a nous montre le truc de majie. Il a nous parle de son vie. Je pense que c\u2019est tres interestante. My favourite part in the presentation was when I got to go up to the front and wear the sealskin jacket. It felt awesome! Michael\u2019s wife, Gerry showed us some really cool stuff like a whale bone that carved into a whale and she showed us how mothers carry their babies.\u00a0\u00a0By Adam <\/em><\/p>\n
