As former educators, we wish to recognize a well-rounded student who meets the following criteria:<\/p>\n<p>1. The student has been enrolled in a Burnaby school for his\/her two senior years and has maintained a good standard of achievement.<\/p>\n<p>2. The student intends to register at a post-secondary institution and has financial need.<\/p>\n<p>3. Funds are eligible for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Canadian post-secondary institutions only<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>ADDITIONAL FACTORS FOR CONSIDERATION<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Been actively involved in community service and\/or volunteer work: tutoring, peer counselling, church, clubs, recreation, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Been actively involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, leadership, government, dance, music, athletics, debating, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated special skills, hobbies, interests, and\/or training.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Value<\/h6>\n<p>$1, 500 to a Burnaby North student<\/p>\n<h6>Due Date<\/h6>\n<p><strong>THURSDAY, APRIL 30TH<\/strong> before 3PM.<\/p>\n<h6>Procedure<\/h6>\n<p>Please submit a 200-word essay describing your future goals, a resume, AND\u00a0 your transcript to Ms. Mihic in Student Services or by email by the specified due date.<strong> If sending by email, please send a single pdf in the order above<\/strong>.
