{"id":333,"date":"2026-02-05T13:26:24","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T21:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/north-scholarships\/?p=333"},"modified":"2026-04-07T09:56:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T16:56:42","slug":"cupe-local-23-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/north-scholarships\/?p=333","title":{"rendered":"CUPE Local 23 Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>Criteria<\/h6>\n<p>The CUPE Local 23 scholarship is awarded to one student in each of Burnaby\u2019s secondary schools who meets the following criteria:<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has:<br \/>\n\u25aa Maintained a good academic standing<br \/>\n\u25aa Demonstrated good citizenship in school and the community<br \/>\n\u25aa Participated in volunteer activities<\/p>\n<p>Scholarship will be awarded to a student who is going on to a BC post secondaryor vocational training program. Consideration should be given to a student with financial need.<\/p>\n<h6>Value<\/h6>\n<p>$500 to a Burnaby North student<\/p>\n<h6>Due Date<\/h6>\n<p><strong>To Ms. Mihic (paper or email) by THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2026 before 3PM .<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6>PROCEDURE<\/h6>\n<p>Download or pick up a paper form and submit all forms, in order,\u00a0 to Student Services or email to Ms. Mihic by due date (<a href=\"mailto:dragana.mihic@burnabyschools.ca\">dragana.mihic@burnabyschools.ca<\/a>) .
